    Where's that AutoForm?

AutoForm is mentioned here and there and I saw that it's used in Level 1 course (in Austin), but I don't find it in our projects, I only find it in repository browsers included in the "Utilities for 2.1 Package". Umbraco 2.1! I wasn't even born at the time of 2.1. (As an Umbraco-dev at least). ;-)

Can anyone share some info on the status of AutoForm?

    Regards

    Jonas

AFAIK it's been superseded by Doc2Form, which has the same features and many more.   http://www.blogfodder.co.uk/post/How-To-Get-doc2form-For-Umbraco.aspx

    Hi Jonas,

AutoForm has actually evolved into doc2form, there is some very detailed info on doc2form here: http://www.blogfodder.co.uk/post/How-To-Get-doc2form-For-Umbraco.aspx

5 minutes from post to answer x 2. Some kind of record. :-) Thanks guys!

But I wonder why it's not to be found in projects http://our.umbraco.org/projects

To my knowledge, Doc2Form is/was Casey Neehouse's project - not sure if any further development is taking place. That's probably why it wont be listed on the projects.  I think a lot of people are using Contour now.

I have an early version 3 of Doc2Form, so I think it may be being developed although rather slowly.  tbh, i can't think of anything else it needs!
