    Searching an Umbraco site

Is there an easy way to add a site search, to search all my pages? I'm hoping someone will tell me there is a package already for this...

I have Google custom search already set up on my old site, but after I put the site in Umbraco I'm assuming Google won't work anymore.

There are a number of search packages available for umbraco. I'm partial to XSLTsearch (I should be, I wrote it) but there are others. Each has its strengths. If you simply want to search your site's content then XSLTsearch is probably the easiest solution... you'll have a full site search in less than 10 minutes. Customizable and full docs.

If you need more than what XSLTsearch provides, click the 'search' tag on the http://our.umbraco.org/projects page for more options.

And, Google has no problem indexing umbraco sites so you could still use your custom google search if you wanted to.

    cheers,
    doug.
