Members do not save in Chrome

    Hi

I am running Umbraco v 4.0.3 (Assembly version: 1.0.3674.221). When i update a member property through the user interface and press the save button the changes are not saved when using Chrome 4.1.249.1042 and the "Member saved" popup does not show. I have reproduced the error in another umbraco installation using umbraco v 4.0.2.1 (Assembly version: 1.0.3441.17657).

The problem only exists when saving members. Every thing else saves beautifully.

If I update the member property in IE8 there is no problem.

    Regards

    Tarrild

    Christian,

Probably because of the password fields... it's a known issue, but more of a browser issue because Chrome can store username/password combinations, but doesn't fill in the 'confirm password' field. Simple workaround is to expand the password part and retype passwords.

    Cheers,

    /Dirk

Also moved it to this category as it wasn't exactly a our.forum bug

    Dirk,

The workaround is ok, but not ideal as I for sure don't keep passwords for all editors.

Do you know if there's anything on codeplex for this (I'd like to vote it up)?

    Hello!

Keep in mind that there are some other issues with chrome aswell. I could not insert tables or adjust width/height of pictures in the RTE.

    Regards,
    Fredrik

Thank you for our quick replies. Sorry for misplacing my question. It was indeed Chrome filling out the change password field for the member without filling out the confimation.

    Thanks
