I have a client who claims that his home node deleted from the content area when he was working in the media area. I've been working with Umbraco for 4 years and I've never seen this happen. Does anyone know if this really could happen and if so, why, and or how I could prevent it from happening again?
Not ruling it out but it sounds unlikely since they are in two separate sections. Check the umbracoLog table to see exactly the order things occured and when. You may want to dig a little deeper and see if you client was actually in the media section, or was working with media in the content section. Sometime clients get frustrated and don't articulate well what actually happened.
