Just looking for some advice on how to remove some legacy files. One of the sites i built in umbraco about a year ago is now 2Gb in size due to the number of images that exist in the folder. when images are uploaded in the cms umbraco creates a unique folder in the media folder which is sensible but if you want to replace and image on the site, the image will not be replaced in the folder instead a new folder will be created leaving the unused image lying dormant in the site. I now have a massive backlog of unsused images (around 1.5GBs worth) in my media folder. Does anyone know a way of how i could clean this up???
