You need to allow the new theme to be used for campaigns by going to Administration -> Manage Workspace, allow the theme, and save.
After looking at the (documentation)[https://www.newsletterstudio.org/documentation/package/12.0.0/concepts/themes/] I see that this might be hard to understand - I'll make sure to update the docs. Thanks for pointing this out.

Hi, I want to add custom theme for newsletter studio. According to docs - https://www.newsletterstudio.org/documentation/package/12.0.0/concepts/themes/- I've added theme file with minimum content
