Had the same error - the TinyMCE editor totally disappeared on all doctypes.
The reason in my case was an error in the config-file, where I added the templates and uncommented the old values. After fixing this (and adding a space to web.config to restart the app) the editor returned.

I have installed version 1.3 on in a umbraco v 4.7.2
After I have installed (or tried to install) a template then it does not work anymore.
As you can see in the picture the editor is gone
When I click on the preview so it works fine.
I just want to hear if there are any ideas before I afinstalere newsletter studio - of course that instalere again it's a really good job - thank you

I have never seen this problem before, are you shure that your settings are correct in /umbraco/newsletterstudio/web.config?
Have did it work before you added a template?
