My scenario:
I have 52 articles in content section, and I want to pick one of them based on the subscriber date.
When I use "insert url content", I want to send a macro parameter to the macro of the template that render the article.

You shouls have a look a the render tasks, the render url-feature is just a render task that grabs content from the tree so you should probably be able to do the same thing with a render task.
