    Skineditor encoding does not support norwegian special char

    Hi!
    In Newsletter Studio 2.0.0 the skineditor will save norwegian special characters ÆØÅ as ÆØÅæøå.
    Both in Umbraco 7.2 alpha and Umbraco 7.1.1.

    Earlier this year we tried Newsletter Studio 2.0.0 BETA 1 and that version did not have that problem.

    Is there anything we can to make the skineditor to accept these chars? I've tried to open the skin html-file in an external editor and save with UTF-8 encoding, then the chars show as the should, but after I open, edit and save them again in the skineditor the chars are wrong again.

    Hi!

    Hmm... This is strange. I'll need to try this myself (I always try to test with swedish chars and if that works norwegian chars should work as well right?).

    I'll get back when I have looked closer at this but if I understand you correct you have found a temporary way around the problem?

    Yes, meanwhile we will use an external editor to edit til html-files directly or templates instead of skins to get the job done.
