    Using Newsletter studio with blog posts

    Hi,

    I haven't started using Newsletter Studio yet.

    I'm very new to using Umbraco, but i'm hoping to Utilise it for blogging amongst other things.

    I was wondering whether the newsletter studio plugin will integrate into blog posts? As in, when the blog is published, the content of the blog is emailed to the subscribers in its entirety.

    Hi Matt!

    Nice to hear that you're have started with Umbraco! Most welcome to the community =D

    Since Umbraco have a flexible document type model there is really no way for Newsletter Studio to know if there is a blogpost or something else that was published.

    But it would be quite easy to create your own eventhandler that detects a published blogpost and from there create a newsletter that would be sent to one or more mailing lists.
