Hello, I am having an issue trying to install Newsletter Studio successfully.
I have set up a fresh Umbraco installation, and went and installed Newsletter Studio. Once installed I go to create a Newsletter, give it a name and click Create. This gives an error stating 'Error: The request is invalid.'
Having a look at the umbracoLog file it doesn't log as an error at all. It will however create the list.
When trying to click into them I get the same 'Error: The request is invalid.' message. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this similar problem?
If it helps with the troubleshooting, when looking at Chrome Developer tools, trying to click a list returns a 400 error like this:
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I think this plugin looks fantastic and would love to get using it.
Thanks for your reply. Yes my user is set up with permissions for that section, also clearing the cache or even using in an Incognito window results in the same :(
I just tried the latest version of Newsletter Studio on Umbraco 7.5.8 and it worked like charm.
I'm not sure why you are getting these errors but 9 out of 10 times it has to do with write permissions to the folders - are you sure that they are all good and that the IIS AppPool has write access? It's strange that you don't see any errors in the logs...
If the permissions does not solve your issue, is there any more information in the response that comes back and triggers the error message?

Hi!
Does the user that you are using have the correct permissions for the Newsletter Studio-section?
Sounds like something with the tokens to the API? Maybe a hard reset of the cache could have an impact?
What version of Newsletter Studio are you installing?
Hi Markus!
Thanks for your reply. Yes my user is set up with permissions for that section, also clearing the cache or even using in an Incognito window results in the same :(
The version is v2.1.9 running in Trial mode.
Thanks! Gary.
