    News Letter Studio Plugin (Trying to add members into senders list / create a group under groups for Umbraco members)

    I have an Umbraco website version 7.10.4 . I have added News letter Studio plugin to my website(started with trial version) . I have a requirement to pull Members group of Umbraco into News letter senders list . I am trying to send email with in the Umbraco Members.

    Could you please assist me in this.

    To be just in detail,

    I just saw demo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cmd19C1iMTM . I see difference in groups listing to select while sending sending email. Attaching the image . Highlighted the area not unable to see in trial Version . Please let me know if this exists only in paid version like so.

    Also attaching the image for Users listed in Umbraco members list and users list in my umbraco back office.

    Hi!

    Thanks for looking at the package!

    The screenshot shows that you have two "Member Types" but I can't see if you have any member groups? The package uses the "Member Groups" and does not care about the "Member Type". Do you have any member groups set up?

    If you have member groups, then sometimes during the install things goes wrong, let's try to find out if that's the case for you.

    There is a section in the /config/newsletterStudio.config-file called "SubscriptionProviders", can you please make sure that it looks like this: 

     <subscriptionProviders>
  <clear />
  <provider name="NewsletterStudioSubscriptionProvider" type="NewsletterStudio.Bll.Providers.NewsletterStudioSubscriptionProvider, NewsletterStudio" />
  <provider name="UmbracoNewSubscriptionProvider" type="NewsletterStudio.Bll.Providers.UmbracoNewSubscriptionProvider, NewsletterStudio" />
  </subscriptionProviders>

    And also, if the file looks like this, please have a look in the log files (app_data/logs) to see if you find any errors from Newsletter Studio?

    If you need to segment the subscribers based on Member Type you could implement your own subscription provider: https://www.newsletterstudio.org/help/develop-with-newsletter-studio/subscription-providers/

    It worked for me. I have to create Member groups. I do not have any Member groups before.
