Is it possible to reuse existing content? i.e. can I post a news release once and have it appear on my Umbraco website AND be used in an upcoming newsletter? I would love to keep the newsletter brief with just a summary and a link to the full news article on the website.
Yes that should be totally possible, you should probably have to add a property for the “summary” and then you can send the newsletter using the alternate template and only include this summary content in the newsletter.
