    Upgrade 2.1.7 to latest 2.1.9.5

    I am currently updating an Umbraco site and also the packages it uses. The current Umbraco version is 7.6.13 but will go to 7.14.0 (hopefully!).

    Newsletter Studio is currently 2.1.7 - are there any issues to be aware of when upgrading to 2.1.9.5?

    I assume there isn't a Nuget package, so I will need to install the 2.1.9.5 on my local Dev. Can I just then release the changes (DLL's, etc?) to our Staging and Live environments? Or do I need to actually install it via Umbraco on each environment?

    I assume I can go straight from 2.1.7 to 2.1.9.5?

    Hi!

    You should be all fine with just upgrading straight to the latest version.

    I would recommend reading this: https://www.newsletterstudio.org/help/upgrading/upgrading-newsletter-studio/ and also have a look at the change log if would like to see more about the versions.

    Remember to backup the DB (and file system i guess you have git).

    Since we might do changes to the db one might have to run the installer in all environments.
