    Great addition to Umb

Hi, just wanted to let you know that this looks like a great package for Umbraco editors. Can't wait to put this through a rigorous test with some of my "technically challenged" clients and see how it works.

    Thanks for sharing!

This is great for clients who have no image editing software, can't wait to really try it out.

    Thanks!

I totally agree. I just tried to put the datatype on a test-website, and it works very well.

    Great work!

    Hi,

Thanks for all the positive feedback. It is really nice to hear people like it : )

The great thing about this package is of course Pixlr itself, I just made the integretation with Umbraco.

I have a couple of small ideas for further development, but right now I am hoping to get it thoughroughly tested so it will be completely stable. So if you come across anything please post it and I will update the package accordingly.

I have already had two bug reports. They are are both fixed, so a new update will soon follow.

    Best regards,
    bjawnie

Agree with everyone here. Really nice! I have worked on several projects were the clients have asked for something like this. They would have loved the feature this package brings!

One question though, the package is dependent on the flash app on pixlr.com, the flash app is not distributed with this package as I understand? If that is the case I would be careful not to sell solutions to clients were this would be a key feature. Pixlr is a third party service that might or might not be available for free in the future. Make sure your contract handles the possibility that the pixlr service is not available anymore or temporarily down.

That said, I can't wait to implement this on the pro bono site I am working on on my spare time (night time that is...). :D

This package is great - it makes it so simple for my clients to edit their images. Thanks very much!
