    Dropdown issues with Repeatable Custom Content v2

    Hi,

    Been using this package alot for multiple pages and found it to be extremely useful. I've encountered an issue when using it in conjunction with dropdown lists though...

    Basically i've set up an instance of RCC that is entirely comprised of dropdowns, so I need them to display the text values in the backend list box. So far though I've only been able to display the number ID's of the values here rather than then text that accompanies them.

    Heres whats showing;

    As you can see this wouldn't be very useful for a content editor.....

    Has anyone else encountered/solved this?

    Cheers

    -Sam

    Sorry don't know the solution, but have you tried Embedded Content? You can do the same, but it's much more user friendly and perhaps the dropdown does work there like you want it.

    No I haven't, but I may check it out if I can't get this working.

    Thanks Jeroen

    I had a look at the Embedded Content package, it looks good but doesn't currently support dropdown lists...

    Hopefully there is a solution to this....

    Hmm you're right. I didn't know that. Maybe one of these supports it:

    DataType Grid

    MultiType DataType

    It looks like those two have similar constraints unfortunately judging by some of the forum posts, thanks again for trying Jeroen.

    Looks like I may have to consider some kind've work around to this using the original RCC. I know the problem isn't specific to my installation now too as I've tested it on another site with the same results.
