    Not Working With v7?

Hi I'm trying to set this up with a news parent node and news item child nodes. I've installed the package locally and configured the config file.

I've tried restarting my app pool as well.

The instructions say: Edit your landing node to allow the uDateFoldersy year folder as a child.

There is no uDateFoldersy doc type alias?

I don't have the appropriate doc type to allow as part of the structure for my news document type and so when trying to create a news item and assigning it a date i get:

"No ContentType matching the passed in Alias: 'uDateFoldersyFolderYear' was found" as a YSOD.

    Any fixes for this one?

    Cheers,

    Tom

Same problem here. I got it to work by manually creating doc types for year, month and day. I think they have been missed out of the v2.0 package.

I think i have the same bug in Umbraco 7.

I'am using uBlogsy 4 in my Umbraco 7.0.3 installation using MVC and want to create my blog items in a different folder

    I have:

    > - blog
    > -- year
    > --- month
    > ---- post

    I want:

    - blog
     -- blog container
     --- year
     ---- month
     ----- post

created in uDataFoldersy.config the alias to my article folder documenttype, it has the right to create years, months, day en post childs:

    <RootDocTypeAliases>ArticleFolder</RootDocTypeAliases>

but when i do create a new article from the root (auto create folders) my blog items dind't create the month and year folder. Also it is not in the right folder (article folder) but still in the root of blog (landing)

when i editied the articlefolder to the default landing, it works but my years goes in the blog folder and not the blog > blog container.

tried your hotfix .dll but this doens't help me either (did i miss something?)

    Hi Roy

There's a lot going on there. It's a bit hard to visualise the issue. Is there any chance that you can do a screenr video to show me your issue?

    Hi Anthony,

Here is my video about the blog container for uBlogsy/uDateFoldersy: http://youtu.be/aRq436XUjTo

Ublogsy video of autocreating blog post in a folder (article folder) this is not working. When creating a blog post the post goes in the root not the 'article' or neither the '2014' folder.

The alias is set to the right container.

Running latest MVC version of uBlogsy Running Umbraco 7.1.1
