"Nodes can be created directly on a year or month folder, and will stay at the folder"
however this is not my experience in my 6.1.6 project.
Right clicking an existing 'uDateFoldersyFolderMonth' node for a future month and creating a new item under it always results in that node being created underneath the current month with the new node being given today's date and current time.
This was actually the intended functionality. When I made the datefolders for ublogys, the client asked for the ability to create an article under a year or a month...
The original functionality ways:
- create from a dashboard or root node
- create from any node in the date folders leaves it in the folder.
- move to a datefolder even if it is a month or a year.
yes I agree it can seem a bit wacky. I havent had time to re-code this, as it's a pretty big change in its functionality.
Cannot create a node under the month I want it.
The info on the project page says:

This makes the package unusable in my situation.
Hi, I'm also noticing the same issue on 6.16?
