I just made a little start, it was far from being finished yet :-) And after all I wasn't able to complete it soon, because I'm really busy at the moment.
So I'm glad Simon created the package, my post wasn't intended to be competitive btw... ;-)
I wasn't meaning that there is any competitiveness about this package specifically - nothing against you guys, keep on developing great packages!
My concern (and subsequent tweet) is more about how developers can be put off working on packages because it's "already been done"!
... and that might mean new ideas could be lost?
It could be a problem with how Our Umbraco is set-up that one person (member) takes the credit (and karma) for a project?
An example for me would be the Flickr Photo Picker - it's such a good data-type, but is let-down by it being unusable in the front-end (XSLT) - it could be done so much better! Should I help Michiel out with the code? Should I release a competing package? Would that cause confusion?
Guess these are things to discuss over a beer at CG10?
Lol
I was just creating the same package ;-) But no need for that anymore :P
A collaboration maybe? Stefan, does yours offer anything different?
@Lee
Nope, it doesn't.

Sorry kipusoep.
If I publish the source code at a later date you are more than welcome to join the party ;)
Hi guys,

Cheers, Lee.
Yes Lee, I agree with you :-)
Too bad I won't be there @ CG10, 'cause I would love to join the discussion...
This package is much needed. Thanks :)
is working on a reply...
