    DEBUG, fileName: visible in output even when debug flag not set

    Hi,

    I've been testing AC with Umbraco v6.0.3 and it appears to work fine however I did notice the following:

    Case 1:

    /Minify?f=/css/test.css

    Yields

    /* Data-From: Generated */
    /* DEBUG, fileName: c:\inetpub\wwwroot\dev.local\css\test.css */
    /* Minified: True */
    /* File: test.css */
    .somethingBlack{color:black}
    .somethingWhite{color:white}

    Case 2:

    /Minify?f=/css/test.css&debug=true

    Yields

    /* Data-From: Generated */
    /* DEBUG, fileName: c:\inetpub\wwwroot\dev.local\css\test.css */
    /* Minified: False */
    /* Is Debug: True */
    /* File: test.css */

    /* Comment with a line break */

    .somethingBlack{color:black}
    .somethingWhite{color:white}

    /* EDITOR PROPERTIES - PLEASE DON'T DELETE THIS LINE TO AVOID DUPLICATE PROPERTIES */

    As you can see in both cases it reveals the local path of your installation - which may be undesirable in a production environment.

    This could potentially be a very useful package as it gets around the problem of touching the config files when working with client dependency.

    Hey Spacecowboy,

    We've left the Debug details in as a few people liked having them while we tracked down some other issues. Happy to remove them though and get a new version out, its been a while. Let me see what I can do. I'll update here when we have a new one ready, won't be today though.

    Cheers

    Pete

    Awesome Geezer :)

    Happy to help out if you are pushed for time & have a repo somewhere - a few other nice to haves would be new node in settings for storing stylesheets as for some reason you cannot create folders under the existing stylesheets node ( although you can with scripts and other packages like uLess )

    This would allow you to organize the files better and make full use of the /Minify/mycss/myfolder functionality

    Maybe the configuartion-less approach could do with some config options :) *grins*

    Hey Spacecow Boy,

    Working on a project this week/next that needs our compressor so will see about getting that output tidied up for you.

    We don't use the back office editors at all so not come across the issue with nested folders, would need a core mod to get them rendering out correctly I think. Any ideas?

    Awright Pete,

    There is a workaround where you manually create the folder in the CSS directory of your umbraco installation - but thats obviously not ideal. I think its fairly straightforward to create your own custom trees within the the admin interface.
