I haven't had much of a need for this package lately and thus haven't tried in v7, or v6 for that matter. Jeavon updated it for v6 recently, so there's a chance that package may work on v7 as well. If you're willing to give it a shot, you can download on the Project page - make sure to get the one labeled for 6.1.3+. You can find the source for Jeavon's update in his fork.
No worries. I figured it was a long shot. It is a shame that it is not built into the core the ability to set a default sort per doctype. Thanks anyway and I might give Jeavon's v6 version a try (another long shot).
Hey, the v6 version should work under the hood, only issue is going to be the UI updating bit. I need to investigate how that works in v7. @Tom any ideas?
Not off the top of my head, I haven't worked with the tree too much in v7, besides custom trees. I've got a task coming up that involves tree syncing though, so I'll be sure to post back here if I find anything useful :)
U7 Support
Just wondering if this works on U7 (7.1 specifically) and if not, are there plans to update it?
Thanks!

Sorry there's not better news :)
