    Media Types from classes

I can't see that this has been implemented or requested as a feature, but it would be good to be able to create Media Types from .NET classes.

Most people probably only use the default Media Types (Folder/File/Image). But for a solution i am working on we'd like to create an IA in the Media section that replicates the Content section. This is for a mutli site solution where CMS users will be restricted to add/view Content and Media within their site.

    Thoughts...

    Adam, thanks for feedback.

Creating Media Type in the same way as Document Types and Member Types is currently not implemented but we are planning to add it to uSiteBuilder.

As far as I know, it's still not supported, and it's 2014 now.

Considering grabbing the source code and adding it myself. Media types are as important to us as document types. We use media types to create strict rules on media content in the back office.

E.g. making a Carousel Folder that can only have Carousel Images. And making it so Carousel Images can only be in carousel folders. etc.
