I've installed the Business Website Starter Pack since I wanted to use it for a business. But I want a gallery too, and there are Runway galleries...Is it incorrect to change the master template for the gallery templates? I did this with the blog as well to get it to show up under the BWSP menu. I'm a noob to Umbraco. To really integrate it in looks like I'll have to change some of the templates themselves. Is this correct?
As a side a few themes for this project would rock.
The runway modules are quite specific to runway itself, so yes you'd need to port whatever templates are installed to within the BSWP master template to get it working.
Templates for BSWP are a great idea - this project is 1 year old next month and I'm hoping to release V2 then, with jqgallery (and a few other bits and pieces) integrated right out of the box.
Nice yes that helps. I've been debating on whether to stick with Umbraco or not. It is very neat, but I had a hell of a time getting things working correctly, between host and dll versioning...I thought dll hell went away? I'll check out that gallery.
Shared hosting can be a pain, that can't be denied. Having said that, I've worked with quite a few CMS systems and very few come close to the flexibility and ease of use as umbraco. From my experience designers, developers and end-users all appreciate this.
Stick with it and you won't be disappointed! As you've probably seen elsewhere on the forum, in most cases the community are as knowledgeable as they are helpful and very few forum posts go unanswered.
Gallery for BWSP?

Hows about <plug>http://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/jqgallery</plug>?
