When I created a sub CSS entry under custom.css, the above code was deleted by Umbraco. I used Notepad to verify the content of custom.css before and after.
- Is the above CSS code needed by the BSK ?
- In order to make to blog post work in Business Starter Kit, I have to add the following to the master page "Starterkit Master":
<asp:ContentPlaceHolderId="cp_head"runat="server"> <!-- Insert default "test" markup here --> </asp:ContentPlaceHolder>
Otherwise, it is failing when I click on the link of the Blog Post Title.
Now, the blog post are working, I can post a new blog entry from the
back office, but, when I try to post a comment from the UI, the page is posting
back, but no comments are showing.
I check the back-office, the content section, I don't see any document for the comments I tried to post.
Looks like the Blog package installed is not complete.
You indicated there is a difference between the installer-based business starter kit, and this package. I have been finding a hard time finding out what the difference between the two is. They seem like they are the same thing? (But you are obviously indicating otherwise.) Is there some page which can answer this question?
The "starter kits" listed at http://our.umbraco.org/projects/starter-kits were mostly created before umbraco HQ rolled out the skinnable "starter kits" that are installed as part of the umbraco installation process. Projects such as this one are installed as packages on an "empty" site. The confusion is understandable.
Complete newbie with umbraco here ...I have installed the latest and greatest "Umbraco" v6.1.2. I was then asked to choose from a selection of starter kits. I chose the simple kit (Simple starter kit - as advised by the text). Installed fine.. I then tried to install in the site admin "Business website starter package",,,,however this fails every time I try to install. I keep getting the message,, "Sequence contains no elements". However I noticed the files seem to be there, under “installed packages”, but are not available in the content section of the admin tool. Could this be versioning or some kind of conflict ....?
Some issues with Business Starter Kit.
I installed Umbraco 4.6.1 and chose Business Starter Kit option (BSK) during the installation.
After several days playing around with BSK and Umbraco, I find the following issues:

Hi Tarekhaf
I think these posts were going into some obscure folder in gmail, sorry about that.
For you & anyone else who finds this, I think this post is related to the installer-based business start kit, not this package.
Cheers,
Dan
Hi Da,
Wow .. after that long, I cannot remember the context of my issue.
But thanks anyway for posting.
