Showing all contents events on the "Events" front page rather than just those for the "month" selected

Umbraco learner here so please be gentle. I have succesfully installed the package and got the Events area populated and working within my site. Awesome! However, I would like to list ALL events placed in my content on the front page ... rather than just those for the month selected from the right hand calender. At the moment if I have no events for the current month nothing is show and the user has to click through the calender to whats happening in the future (the deafult setting)
Obviosuly if they browse for example to "January 2012" i want that list to change to january 2012 items as it currently does ...but i really need it so that when somebody loads the events page INITIALLY they get a full list.
Does that make sense and if so how do it?!
I'm still weak on the coding side so any help is appreciated. Thanks :)

I'd be interested in something similar - for me i would like the next 3 events to be displayed on my homepage,
