Noticed that the Blog element of this start up kit has built in support for Anti-Spam namely the "Auto-Delete Spam" option and the Akismet built in support.
I've had the "Auto-Delete Spam" option turned on and still getting countless spam comments (thankfully I have the setting enabled so that I have to authorise every comment).
I'm reluctant to purchase an Akismet commercial license.
What I'm wondering is has anyone had chance to implement an anti-spam type function other than using the Akismet option.
