    Admin user logged in? 7.2.2

    Hi,

    Can you let me know what I need to check to see if an Admin user is logged in successfully. I used to use Security.CurrentUser but this is returning a NULL in 7.2.2.

    Thanks

    Jon

    Hi Jonathan

    Is it into the Umbraco backoffice or into a custom section on the fron-facing website? If so could you then please share some code perhaps?

    If it's to the backoffice are you then trying to hook it up using an AD or something like that?

    /Jan

    Hi, I am trying to use the Frontend Editor that Kenn Jacobsen created but in 7.2.2 it doesn't seem to Authenticate a user. The

    var user = Security.CurrentUser;

    is always null. So I was wondering if there is another correct way of doing the same functionality for 7.2.2. Thanks

    Hi Jonathan

    Aaah that way - I have just moved the post to the forum for this particular package. Then there is a chance that Kenn will notice this post and it will make the context of the issue a bit more obvious :)

    I suspect something in v7.2.2 has changed since Kenn made this package for 7.1.x - I know there is another package of his that's also currently ucompatible with 7.2.2.

    Any solutions to this? I also need to check if current user is authenticated into umbraco.

    How curious... I haven't got any notifications on this thread.

    Anyway! I've just uploaded a new version of the package (0.1.0.4) that should fix this issue.
