I am trying to create a scenario where users can create child documents but NOT edit the parent (ie news articles - some are from a node they can't edit, but they can add comments underneath).
My idea was to hide the 'Save', 'Save and publish', 'Unpublish' buttons for the parent nodes : I have tried putting
Save
Save and publish
Unpublish
in the Names field and selecting 'Hide Buttons' but they still see the buttons.
I know the package is working as I can hide panels.
How to use the 'Hide Buttons' options

Hi Tim,
Perhaps you can use the backoffice-tweaking package, to archive what you are trying to do. Have a look here. https://our.umbraco.org/projects/collaboration/backoffice-tweaking/
Hope this helps,

That's exactly what I am using - I stupidly posted this in the wrong forum.

Hi Tim,
DonĀ“t be sorry. I can see that you have found the backoffice-tweaking space on this forum.
Best,
