I've purchased a license and put the lic file in /umbraco/plugin/mediaprotect/config and i've recycled the app pool, restarted the website, touched the web.config but when you to protect a folder, a yellow warning still appears at the top of the dialogue box saying:
"You are currently running in trial mode which means Mediaprotect will only work on localhost."
I've checked the domain name on the lic and it is the same as the URL (note that the url is a subdomain and the lic is the domain without the www....which I believe is correct for using it on a subdomain.
Sorry put the license in the bin folder, thought I've updated the document. Where did you find the info telling it must be in the config folder (this was the old location, before you could buy licenses from the Deli)?
We just purchased the media protect and moved the license file to the bin folder. But logviewer is still saying we in a trial mode, currently the site is hosted in discountasp.net and is still using the staging url. I did provide the url of the staging server when purchased the license.
Maybe the app pool didn't recycle when you've added the dll's on discount asp.net. Can you make a small modification to the web.config file and see what happens?
Can you send me an email [email protected] with the full licensing details then I can see what might be the issue. Any other commercial packages installed on that site?
Not picking up License

Do we need to do anything different.

Hi Richard,
I manually recyled the app pool and still no luck, i am suspecting the way the domain name is registered for the getting the license.
The production domain is like - www.domainname.com
Staging site in DiscountASP is like - http://domainname.webXXX.discountasp.net/
