    One license but different domains

I have a solution which contains multiple websites for the customer.

www.website-a.com is a simple, no logon website.

www.website-b.com is a more advanced website, with login and different roles.

When using the Media Protect package on website-b.com I will be able to protect certain files and folders.

Lets say www.website-b.com/media/protectedfile.jpg is protected with the Media Protect package.

Since the two websites are in the same Umbraco solution, and share the /media/ library, will the file be available on www.website-A.com/media/protectedfile.jpg as well, without beeing protected, since I only will buy a license for the domain website-b ?

    Best Regards

    Kristoffer

    Hi Kristoffer,

The file will be protected on site A as well. But you will get a license error. If you contact [email protected] with the other domain name we will add it to the license if you don't use Media protect functionality on that site.

    Best,

    Richard
