Hello,
We have configuration with two domains: mydomain.co.uk.local -> English language mydomain.de.local-> German language
When I go to https://mydomain.de.local/sitemap.xml I get wrong results e.g.: https://mydomain.de.local/services/it-consulting the domain is correct, but what comes after / it is taken from English domain, instead of German.
When I go to /de (if I add it) https://mydomain.co.uk.local/de/sitemap.xml it returns correct results: https://mydomain.co.uk.local/de/dienstleistungen/it-consulting/
Should I configure something more in order for German domain to work? We are using Umbraco 8.5.3 and SeoChecker 2.9.0
Best regards,
Piotr Szkudlarski
Hi Piotr,
This will be addressed in 2.10 where I create an Index sitemap first before rendering the individual sitemaps when the sitemap is configured for the new Umbraco V8 multilingual feature.
Best to submit both individual sitemaps for now
https://mydomain.co.uk.local/sitemap.xml and https://mydomain.co.uk.local/de/sitemap.xml
Best,
Richard
Thank you for your reply.
Could you tell, when the new version will be available ? I'm sorry for bothering, but this feature is pretty crucial for us.
Piotr
Done when done sorry,
You could always create the Index file yourself and reference bot other sitemaps in those.
