Scope is not defined, Umb 7.1.6, Checker v1.8

Using Umbraco v7.1.6, Seo Checker v1.8

When adding in a redirect on a content node we add in the old url, and select the redirect destination node. When clicking 'Save redirect' the UI makes no visual indication of save, and the contents are not persisted.

Chrome provides the console error below. Has anyone else run into this, or have i missed an essential configuration step? There is no UI feedback to indicate any configuration is amiss...

    Hi,

Really weird that you have this issue. I have one other client that has the same issue. But I can't reproduce this. Other clients also don't have this. Any other packages you are using on the site?

    Best,

    Richard

Sorry Richard, long overdue response (holiday).

Packages currently installed are Archetype v.1.6, SEO checker and Diplo Trace Viewer 2.1.

Archetype while being used is not acting as a wrapper for any SEO checker fields, so i do not for example have an archetype with a meta field inside it. The SEO fields have been added directly onto the doctype as standard,

    Hi Joseph,

Sorry for not getting back. I couldn't reproduce this earlier and need to set-up an environment just like yours. Would it be possible if you could share the environment so I can test it on the exact same environment as yours? If tyhat is possible could you send me an email [email protected]

    Thanks,

    Richard

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for getting back to me. Working on getting you the access required / permissions. Hopefully myself or my colleagues Kris / Paul will be in touch shortly.

    Hi Richard,

I've set up a login for our staging environment. Do you have an email address I can send the credentials too?

    Cheers

    Kris

Hi Richard, We noticed you released 1.8.1 recently.

We have updated our installation to that version which seems to now allow for redirects to persist. Not sure what was going on in 1.8.0, but at least initially the newer release seems to have fixed the issue.

    Hi Joseph,

Sorry I thought you already tried on 1.8.1 Glad it's fixed now but sorry for not asking twice.

    Best,

    Richard
