    Issues after upgrade to 1.8.1

    Hello,

After upgrading from 1.4.1 to 1.8.1 we experienced some issues on two of our websites:

    1. non-www to www redirect is not working anymore (404 page not found)
    2. sitemap.xml redirects to homepage instead of showing the xml file (200)

    Hi Ralph,

My assumption is that your HTTPModules and handlers are not configured (anymore) Can you still access the SEOChecker section in the backoffice?

    Best,

    Richard

    Hi Richard,

Yes, we can still access them.

Then the HTTPModules and/or Handlers are not running anymore. If you send me the web.config to support@soetemansoftware.nl I can have a look. Is the site public by the way then I can also ping the site?

The HTTPModules and handlers are still configured correctly.

Is the domain node in seochecker still corresponding with the rootdomain of the site? If not in a multi domain setup it's best to assign a domain name to the rootnode then SEOChecker doesn't need to guess which site is the root.
