Metadata null when trying to access via Articulate Category Page
Hi,
I've included the plugin along with the articulate blog plugin. Everything works fine until I try accessing a category page.
Now the category isn't a page itself so you can't set metadata values for this page. However when i try and access the Parent ID which is a standard node it doesn't return a value. Just returns a cache error.
This is because Articulate isn't a document. So best to use the normal HTML meta tags here. V2 will have hooks to plugin uCommerce, Articulate etc but not yet finished.
The problem isn't associating the SEOChecker datatype with the pages (for the real pages that works fine). The problem is that if you're on one of the virtual category pages SEOChecker doesn't work - it's not the actual content type that the property is on that's the problem (I'm passing the root blog node into the partial view where I'm using SEOChecker). The problem is that if you're on one of these virtual pages the SEOChecker property will be null on any content object.
Presumably SEOChecker tries to access something that isn't set up correctly when on the virtual pages, but I've no idea what that might be.

Thanks Richard.
When is V2 likely to be ready for?
Early next year I think but done when it's good enough...
Hi Richard,
Hope you are well. Just looking for an update on V2? Need to provide some info to a client who is waiting on articulate support.
Thanks in advance
HI Still in progress working very hard on this but no date yet
Thank you the quick response
Hi Richard,
Any update on Articulate support?
Thanks
Hi,
Sorry still no update on that one. Don't know how articulate works but can't you have a page with seochecker?
As far as I'm aware it doesn't have a node for it to be associate with the seochecker datatype

I guess I'm asking as well when v2 will be here?
Articulate is still not supported indeed There will be extensions possible with V2 release very soon, but providers will come in v2.x
Best,
Richard
