    HTTPS canonicals

I note the special property seoForceHTTPS, but I'd like all my canonical links and sitemap xml links to use HTTPS? I'm sure there must be a simple way to achieve this. Any ideas?

Set force https in Configuration then all requests will be redirected to https and also Canonical will use https.

    Hope this helps,

    Richard

Ok, so then my problem is that I'm blind or stupid. Where is this setting? I'm looking particularly at Settings > Configuration and I don't see any such option. I've got:

    • Validate a page when published (on)
    • Enable XmlSitemap (on)
    • Exclude umbracoNaviHide (on)
    • Enable dynamic robots.txt file (on)
    • Enable URL rewriting (off)
    • Store domain for not found urls (off)
    • Store querystring for not found urls (off)
    • Forward querystring (on)
    • Redirect when node exists (off)
    • Enable not found pages (on)
    • Validate alt attributes on template (off)
    • Keyword selection tool
    • Show template errors for editors (off)

No My fault, that's in for V2

For now you can use http://www.richardsoeteman.net/2014/10/03/ExtendSEOCheckerURLRewriting.aspx to force usage of https.

    Best,

    Richard

We're already redirecting http traffic to https. Does you solution achieve the same thing or will it affect the sitemap.xml?
