404 setting not working with Umbraco 7.2.1

    Hallo,

are there known issues with Umbraco 7.2.1 and SEOChecker 1.8.1 with 404 setting?

We set PageNotFound-Setting with SEOChecker and it worked until we updated no newest Umbraco version. It only shows standard page not found screen. enter image description here

    Hi Heiko

Is the node that is supposed to be shown still picked in SEO checker?

    Hi Heiko

Ok, perhaps you just need to go to the "CONTENT" node, right click it and choose "Republish entire site" in order to update the XML cache. Not sure it works but worth a try.

Hi Just tested here and all works fine. I've tested on a single domain site using the picker on domain settings. You did the same and logging of 404 is working?

    Best,

    Richard

    Hi Richard,

we have multiple domains in this Umbraco instance. Do you mean IIS logs?

    Hi Heiko,

No logging of 404 errors in the Inbound link issues overview.

    Thanks,

    Richard

    Hi Richard,

404 errors are logged in the inbound link issues overview. What could it be?

Then the handler is running. Can you send the /umbraco/plugins/seochecker/config/seochecker.config file to [email protected]

    Thanks,

    Richard

Richard helped me to find the issue. I was sure fo using version 1.8.1 of SEOChecker, but it was installed version 1.8. Just updated package and it`s working now!

Thanks to Richard for his help.
