    Managing hostname

    Your demo installation instructions says:

    6. Set your chosen domain name on "Manage hostnames" on the "Frontpage" node

Why not on the "en" node?

That is because of some best practice SEO we have in our default umbraco setup. So to use our demo just manage the host names on "Frontpage" as it has an umbracoRedirect to the "en" node.

    I dont get it :-)

So I should NOT set hostname on "EN" but on "frontpage" even though setting it on "EN" would allow "Frontpage" to inherit the hostname setting?

Yes you need to set on "Frontpage" - not "EN" :) It's done in that way because then the en.aspx node will always be the frontpage and have the same url - if you specify it on en.aspx your can get to the en.aspx both with http://domain.dk and http://domain.dk/en.aspx

Its our best practice but if you want to change it just go ahead and do it - dont know if the entire demo shop will still work - but you could test that :)
