    Runtime Error when installing TC

    Dear all,

I have just found Tea Commerce, and I would like to check it out.
I signed in to my version of umbraco, which is one month old. I uploaded the zip-file, and it was trying to execute it.
The result was a Runtime Error for all of the domain :-(

    Host: Surftown.dk
    Zip-file: Tea Commerce 1.0.1.0 for .NET 4.zip

By the way I'm new to Umbraco and not hardcore .net developer yet, so I hope someone can help me out.

    Thanks for your help,
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,

Welcome to the kind umbraco world!

About your install of Tea Commerce - i have some questions to your setup

What umrbaco version did you install?
Is your surftown running .Net 4?
Can you edit your web.config and set the to <customErrors mode="Off"/> so we can see what the error is.
    What database are you running?
Did Tea Commerce install any tebles in the database?

    Hi Anders,

    My Umbraco is 4.0.42.
The problem might be in .net 4. Surftown is only running 3.5 under 2.0.50727.
I'm running MSSQL, and there are no new tables.

The error after editing the web.config-file is following:

    Thanks for your help,
    Daniel

Then you have to get the Tea Commerce 1.0.1.0 .Net 3.5 package.

We only support umbraco 4.5+ so you will have to upgrade to umbraco 4.5.2 or later.

The error you get is because you use umbraco 4.0 and its the wrong dll as we have compiled Tea Commerce against umbraco 4.5.2 dll's

Daniel - if you got it working could you mark my previous answer as a solution?

    Been there, done that :-)

What is the link to the shop once it is installed set up?

By the way a more in-depth installation (or video) would be preferred according to setting up a store from scatch!

    Thanks!
    Daniel
