I am setting up paypal as a payment provider on my shop but paypal keeps throwing an error:
We cannot process this transaction because there is a problem with the PayPal email address supplied by the seller. Please contact the seller to resolve the problem. If this payment is for an eBay listing, you can contact the seller via the "Ask Seller a Question" link on the listing page. When you have the correct email address, payment can be made at www.paypal.com.
I have googled this error and it could apparently mean that any value is being passed through incorrectly not just the email.
I have never used paypal before but I have set my self up a sanbox account with the "Website Payments Pro" account type as a business acount and have typed in the API credentials to tea commerce as given on the sandbox along with the payment action "sale" and isSanbox="1".
From what I have said, have I missed anything? or can I not use the "Website Payments Pro" type of paypal account?
I'm not quite sure what to do as I don't know if it's something I've set up wrongly on paypal or something I've done in tea commerce...!
Please post a screenshot of your Pay Pal settings in the Tea Commerce section. Just remember to delete the API credentials first, as it's supposed to be secret :)
In the Pay Sandbox you can create business accounts and personal accounts. You need to create a business account and that accounts e-mail needs to be entered in Tea Commerce's pay pal "business" property.
Thank you so much! That worked! I have spent hours trying to work out what was going on!
Is that documented anywhere (as I couldn't find it)? because that is really not obvious! :)
One small thing though when I click return to site it's redirecting to:http://localhost/tcbase/teacommerce/PaymentContinue/PayPal.aspx (it does that when I use the payment method "account" too)
Your other question - If you wan't to test any paymentprovider you have to put your site online. The payment providers makes some calls to the server and it can't do that to your localhost.
Ok thanks! That makes sense! Although not sure where it gets that url [localhost/tcbase/teacommerce/PaymentContinue/PayPal.aspx] from in the first place as that's not once that I've set.
Eitherway, will try it once it's on an external url to see what happens!
That url is ours. Tea Commerce controls the urls that is sent to the payment providers and redirects the user. This way we have full control with all data to and from the payment providers.
Paypal- problems integrating!

Hi Rune!
Thanks for the quick reply!
Here's a screen shot! :)

As you can see from my screen shot my continue url is set as:
http://localhost:8032/shop/cart/order-confirmation-step-5.aspx
In my general settings I also have the default continue URL and defalt cancel URL set to the correct pages too, but it make no difference.
Is this another setting I have missed? (bearing in mind I am adapting the demo shop!)

payPalDocumentation == "sucks";
So don't expect to understand it right away. :)
