    Tea Commerce Demo Webshop

    Hello,

Is it still possible to install the Tea Commerce Demo Webshop? The specified url isn't accessible anymore: http://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/tea-commerce-demo-webshop

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Wesley,

Yes, we know. We had a minor misunderstanding with the Umbraco team, who removed some of our important packages from Our. They will put them online again soon. Unfortunately I'm at home now, so I cannot send you the package. I will make it available for download as soon as I get my hands on it again!

Until then you can download and install the Starter Kit which is still online. It's not so pretty, but shows a few more features.

    /Rune

Hello, I clicked the link for the demo webshop package and it goes to the starter kit 2.0. Is there a package for the Demo Webshop that's in the screenshots for Tea Commerce on our.umbraco.org?  Thanks much!

    Hi Greg,

The Starter Kit V2 is the Demo Webshop now. Everything you see here is included in the Starter Kit.

It's not an Umbraco package though. It's a full working best practice Umbraco website and database. Just read the installation instructions that's included in the package.

Can the starter kit be installed in a current installation of Umbraco? Seems a bit odd having to create a new site just for the shop when we'd want it all part of the same site?

    Thanks

    Hi Chris

The short answer is - no :)

The starter kit is for new sites and because of some limitations in umbraco - we can't it a package that you can install in a current solution. And the standard doc types and templates would also mess up your solution in a bad way. So best to do for existing site. Install Tea Commerce and then copy stuff from the starter kit that you need.
