If I set up a single language website for selling just to the UK using Tea Commerce and begin with the Starter Kit, do I need to have the languge node level in the tree/URL.
I would like the URL for the home page to be just the domain name without any redirects. If I remove the language level and make the top level node the homepage and then put product categories directly under the top level node will Tea Commerce still work?
I can see that obviouslt I will need to update the level in the XSLT for menus etc, but is there anything else I would break doing this?
The product catalog is just normal umbraco nodes - so you can structure them completely like you want to. You would have to change some simple xslt and maybe changing the host name for a new node - but all common Umbraco stuff. The starter kit is just for you to have a great and easy start but nothing magic about the umbraco nodes and document types.
Single language site simplified URL structure
Hi,

I hope the question makes sense.
Thanks,
