If I just set the Continue URL (return) setting to the Order Confirmation page which contains the CartStep06 XSLT is that going to do it? I've been poking around and cannot find anything obvious that would make me think it performed this function.
Tea Commerce automatically generates the call back url and then redirects to the Continue URL. So you dont need to handle the call back. You can check you IPN history at Pay Pal to see if it makes the call backs. Im working with two others persons on trying to find a bug in the pay pal provider that maybe overwrites its captured status to initialized. Maybe you experience that as well?
I think we have solved the issue. It wasent a bug in Tea Commerce but maybe in Jeremy's code. So you dont need to worry. Its simple to use and you just have to enter a couple of values into the settings - thats it!
PayPal Standard out of the box?
I get confused by all the different offerings from PayPal.
Does Tea Commerce support the PayPal Standard version out of the box or will I have to implement a custom provider like in this post?
Regards,
Matt
Hi Matt
PayPal is a little hard to understand about their many products I give you that :) We support the Website Payments Standard out of the box
Kind regards
Anders
I was looking at the payment methods section with a view to setting up the PayPal provider.
I chose PayPal as the provider and clicked the 'Load standard settings' button which created the settings shown below.
Why are there two 'Continue URL' settings?
Ah, I see.
When you edit them their true nature is revealed. :)
Hi Matt
Sorry for that - the translation files was a little off - is fixed in next release - only in the beta its wrong :)
What is it that marks the order as completed?

Ah OK.
No I'm not experiencing any problems as such.
I've not put the site on a live server yet so can't test the call backs until I do.
I merely saw what I thought was a missing piece of the puzzle and wanted to know if there was much work ahead of me in this area.
Sounds like there's nothing for me to do though, unless said bug appears.
I'll keep you informed with my progress.
