    Paypal standard order set as "initial"

    Hello,

    I'm having trouble setting up PayPal standard on our online shop; when an order is placed the customer has been redirected back to our site from PayPal which all works fine, but if I log in and check the order it is set as "initial" and I need to go in and finialize the order manually to set this as "authorised". I thought that this may be something to do with IPN, so I set this up which has no effect.

    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as we would like to go live by the end of the week if possible.

    Hi David

    How did you setup your IPN? What URL did you enter? What does the IPN history show you?

    Anders,

    Thanks for your quick reply.

    I setup the IPN to  mydomainname/en/cart/order-confirmation.aspx which is the same as the continue url set.

    The IPN history gives me an HTTP reponse code of 200

    I can add some screenshots if that helps.

    Hi David

    Sorry for not having the PayPal documentation ready for Tea Commerce.

    The IPN at paypal should be http://yourdomain.com/tcbase/teacommerce/PaymentCallback/PayPal.aspx

    Hope this fixes it for you

    Anders,

    I have changed the IPN url to the one recommended, I also changed the payment action to sale to see if this has any effect, but unfortunately this has not worked, I still get the orders but they come in as initial, I'll just need to manually finalize this until I get this sorted.

    Hi David

    Could you try and send the complete screenshot of your payment provider settings for paypal to info([at])teacommerce.dk - then I will have a look against our own sandbox account settings in our demo.teacommerce.dk

    That's solved the problem, thanks

    As requested, I changed the secure merchant ID to the email address assocciated with the account and it now works.
