On running again there was still the same error, and the TEMP folder was recreated with the new inline-????.xslt files. From this I match it to the inline macro in the Main Master template lines 58 - 66 which also fits with the HTML that is output to the browser.

Try deleting the temp folders in app_data.
That means the "TEMP" and the GUID named folders.

Then you should check that you the Language node have a "Top image" selected. It's the inline macro that fails as it cannot getmedia without an ID.
Now that I'm thinking about it, it's probably because you haven't set your domain on the Language node. Try that as well.
