Then I started up building my HTML-templates and CSS every thing worked perfect. But now I tried to save a XSLT-template and I keep getting "Xslt file could not be saved".
So I can save everything except my XSLT files, any problem you've seen before and/or know how to solve? :)
Do you have a problem saving all kind of xslt files? Or is it just a specific file? Sometimes it helps to place a checkmark in "Skip error testing" if you're using Umbraco to edit your xslt files. This usually when extensions are being used that needs some values, which it does not get before runtime.
It's always a good idea to edit your xslt files, templates etc. outside of Umbraco since there are some way better editors you can use like visual studio, sublime text etc.
Could you perhaps post a snippet of the XSLT file in question? And could you try just creating an empty XSLT file to see if you can save it? If you can save it then it's probably and extension in the beforementioned file that needs a value it does not get untill runtime.
Checking the "skip testing" worked like at charm, and the Xslt is shown on the page. (thank you!)
The error appears when I try to edit any of the files laying in the folder. I am allowed to create new XSLT files, but after creation I get the same error - even if it's empty.
I checked permission, removed my users and added them again - but nothing seems to help.
Thank you alot guys, didn't locate the error but I can continue my work, with the checkbox and then I might consider using Visual Studio for future projecets.
Xslt file could not be saved
Hi,
I've installed the Tea Commerce Starter Kit 2.0.
Then I started up building my HTML-templates and CSS every thing worked perfect. But now I tried to save a XSLT-template and I keep getting "Xslt file could not be saved".
So I can save everything except my XSLT files, any problem you've seen before and/or know how to solve? :)

Hi Kim
Which files do you try and edit? Have you checked you have the right file permissions?
Kind regards
Anders

Love the teacommerce-package, great job! :)
Hi,
do you have an umbracoRedirect on the top-most node? That might cause this behaviour.
Matthias
Good point Matthias - or maybe you forgot to add the domain at the "en" node like it was specified in the installation guide :)
Thanks for the great words about Tea Commerce!
Kind regards
Anders
