Templates, Media Types and Document Types are blank in Starter Kit 2.2.0.0
Hi,
I am trying Tea commerce and seriously considering it for our client. I installed the starter kit and when I took at the settings, most of the Templates, Media Types and Document Types name start with a hash (#) and for some reasons umbraco 4.7 doesn't display them in the settings left-hand list. Did anybody experience the same issue?
Thanks for your interest in Tea Commerce! The reason why they are named with # is because of a feature in Umbraco where it will look for a dictionary item (In settings->Dictionary in Umbraco admin) and translate it to the UI language the current admin user is logged in for. Where is it that your templates, Media types and document types isnt showed?
How did you install the starter kit? Used the installation guide? Because its not a package you can just install - its an entire complete umbraco website with Tea Commerce and other goodies already installed and implemented for you.
I am in the US and the web.config globalization settings switched me to en-US automatically. On top of that, in Settings, I added "English (United States)" in the languages. Translation were not available to this language so some settings appeared blank.
Anyway, adding culture="en-GB" in the web.config's globalization tag fixed temporarly the issue. I am going to have to change the translations in the database.
