I'd like to install TeaCommerce 1.4.4.4 on Umbraco 4.11.5 with the latest starter kit (2.2.0.0 - is this the latest?) When I last installed TeaCommerce the starter kit was a standard Umbraco package, but now it seems that it's a stand-alone download which contains the Umbraco files within it. It seems that starter kit 2.2.0.0 includes Umbraco 6.0.2, is this right? Is there any way I can just get a package of the start kit to install into Umbraco 4.11.5 like a normal package?
I'd also like to try out TeaCommerce 2 but again the starter kit seems to include Umbraco 6.0.2. Actually, the link I have for the TeaCommerce 2 starter kit (http://www.teacommerce.net/en/products/tea-commerce-starter-kit-for-tea-commerce-2.aspx) seems to forward to the same place as for the TeaCommerce 1 starter kit (http://www.teacommerce.net/en/products/tea-commerce-starter-kit.aspx) so I'm confused which starter kit refers to which TeaCommerce version.
Thanks Merijn. Congrats to the TeaCommerce guys too on the release of v2! I see there's a demo of the new starter kit (http://starterkit.teacommerce.net/frontpage/) but the download link still links to the stand-alone code that contains Umbraco 6.0.2 rather than a package. I really want to use Umbraco 4.11.5 for this project, so does that mean that I either can't use the starter kit or need to create the website from the starter kit, downgrade Umbraco to 4.11.5 then integrate the rest of the site that's built already into the downgraded starter kit installation?
Still confused, basically. I may just have to abandon the starter kit and roll it completely from scratch, but that's a little frustrating as I basically just need the starter kit functionality.
The starter kit that is at starterkit.teacommerce.net is the released version. This is NOT a package and here is why. In the starter kit we use a bunch of preinstalled packages that is a must for webshop owners to have a great experience using Umbraco/Tea Commerce and handling the shop. Because Umbraco packages doesnt support dependency packages we cant make it a package. We would LOVE your feedback and idea for making the starter kit experiende as great as possible!
If you need to use Umbraco 4.11.5 - the think I would do is to install the starter kit on you local machine. Then create an empty Umbraco 4.11.5 site. Install Tea Commerce and start copying the stuff from the starter kit you need. This should maybe take you 1-2 hours. Now when you have a working starter kit for 4.11.5 - make a copy of the website files and the database. Now you have your own starter kit for you to use for multiple webshops using Umbraco 4.11.5
Ah, I see, thanks Anders. Package dependency in Umbraco would be really helpful for stuff like this, but I suspect that's going to be a long time coming. So I'll take your advice - essentially set up a starter kit (umb 6.0.2) instance then manually transfer the TeaCommerce macros/document types etc into my 4.11.5 instance. That should give me a chance to see how it's put together at least, so could be a useful excercise anyway.

I think first the beta will be released.... but this should be ok for me to start working on it.
I think the version that's just been released is the final release, rather than beta: http://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/tea-commerce.
