I've checked the Demo site and that is what I'm hoping to achieve but when I try to replicate this I still get VAT added to the Shipping cost.
To do this is I've setup a new VAT Group called No VAT and set it to 0 then made this the default for our shipping options. Are there any other changes that are needed? Also we are using an older version of TeaCommerce could that be causing the difference?
It isn't listed under that section so it must have been installed a different way, but it looks like it might be version 3.0.0 from looking at some of the references.
Unfortunately, we won't be able to upgrade to a later version of TeaCommerce. Do you have any other suggestions for how to try and solve this issue?
You should be able to update to 3.0.7 without a problem as there is no breaking changes. And if there was a bug with it, I guess that it would be fixed in that version. Possible for you to do that?
Thank you for the reply. We have now implemented the VAT Group Picker on the products and by using a second VAT Group it has allowed us to keep the shipping charge at 0% (set in the default group) but then charge the VAT amount we need on the products (set in the new selected group).
Removing VAT on shipping

Is it possible to setup TeaCommerce so that VAT isn't added to the shipping cost and just to the cost of the product?
I have tried changing the VAT Group on the Shipping section to a Free VAT Group but that didn't seem to have an effect.

Hmm - maybe there has been a bug that was fixed. What version are you running of Tea Commerce? Try and update :)
