    Error with the stock management

Hi there, Using Tea Commerce 3.3.1 on Umbraco 7.15.2 I'm seeing these errors when trying to set/get stock in a product.

    enter image description here

I also tried using 7.14.0 which is the version the current Tea Commerce demo site is on but I have the same result, I cannot save any stock to a product, am I missing some config here ?

I already changed clientDependency, the annoying browser cache and still the same.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Ale

    Hey Ale,

Given its reporting a 500 error, could you take a look in your log file and see what exception is being logged?

    Many thanks

    Matt

Hi Matt, This is the log but I do have a store picker with a store selected. This product page still doesn't have a template, I'm just wiring up the backoffice.

    Hi Ale,

Could you share some details of your site structure? Specifically product to root node relationships and on which node the store picker is on? Also, what is the property alias of your store picker?

    Many thanks

    Matt

    Hi Matt,

This is the site structure and the alias of the store picker is "store".

I moved the property to the Home node and now the stock management is working as expected.

Does this mean that this store property needs to be in a parent node of the product one?

    Thanks,

    Ale

    Hi Ale,

The store picker needs to be on an ancestor node to the product node for it to be found. If you store your products in a separate location, you can add another store picker onto the parent container of the products. As long as it can find one in it's ancestry of the product, it should work.

Glad you managed to get it working 👍

    Matt
