Feature request: umbracoNaviHide in Base DocumentType
I just saw that on my work-in-progress site the comment-configuration for my blog was listed in my sitemaps.
No biggy for me to add the umbracoNaviHide property to the DocumentType to make it invisible, but that's one thing that imo should be pre-configured. Even if there is no template to render those nodes that are linked in the sitemaps, internals like these just do not belong there.

In my opinion, umbracoNaviHide is used for hiding a page.
If there is no template then it's not a page. Sitemaps should take care of only rendering nodes that have templates.

Along the same thougt.. configuration is not really Website-Content either.
Configuration in content nodes is a bit of a hack around the nature of a tree. Although we tend to use nodes for config a lot.
Ideally I would love to have a different interface and layout (possibly in a dashboard).
